Cooking for the Weekend – A Refresh

After many years of sharing recipes at Mostly Vegan Mama, I’ve moved all of those recipes here to a new home — Cooking for the Weekend.

This space is a little more reflective of how I actually cook and live now. I still cook mostly vegan, always plant-forward, and always focused on food that feels cozy, beautiful, and worth the time. I’m not a weekday dinner expert — I’m a weekend cook. I like long recipes, simmering pots, bread in the oven, music in the kitchen, and meals that feed the fridge for the week ahead.

Most weekends I cook a few things that become lunches, easy dinners, or something special to share. Soups, pasta sauces, baked goods, grain salads, sauces, and things that can be reheated or repurposed. Cooking for the Weekend is really about that rhythm — cooking when you have time so the rest of the week feels easier and a little nicer.

You’ll find all of the Mostly Vegan Mama recipes here, plus new recipes, weekend menus, freezer-friendly meals, and probably a few posts about cooking, kitchens, and life in general.

I’m really glad you’re here.
